Vermont Arts Council Arts Education Planning and Evaluation Project

Maren Brown Associates offered evaluation and planning services to the Vermont Arts Council for its arts education programs.  See the Vermont Arts Council’s website for more information about arts education programs and services offered by the Council.  The project included five key components:  (I) review of Vermont Arts Council’s current and past arts education work, partnerships and outcomes; (II) assessment of current status of arts education in Vermont’s PreK-12 schools and systems of state support; (III) research into the best indicators to measure learning in and through the arts; (IV) assessment of best practices at other state and regional arts agencies and relevant consortia; (V) development of a prioritized action plan for the Arts Council’s arts education department for five years.
