Metro Nashville Arts Commission Grant Program Review and Improvement Project
Maren Brown worked with the Metro Nashville Arts Commission (MNAC) on the review of its basic 1 grant program in this project. The work involved providing a primer on the terminology of outcomes-based evaluation and its application to real-life constituent examples, the identification of specific refinements to the MNAC grant application forms and panelist criteria, construction of systems for providing applicant feedback, and the identification of target areas for further professional development for applicants and staff based on the issues/concerns that emerged in the review.
