Maren Brown Associates has worked with a diverse group of clients, representing various arts and culture sectors. Please refer to our core service listings below for summaries of our projects.
From 2013-2015, Maren Brown Associates (MBA) worked with the Hopkins Center for the Arts’ (Hop) staff on the assessment of its new Community Venture Fund project, designed “to help address unmet needs in the Hop’s community-oriented programming and accessibility.” The consultancy was focused on advising staff on productive working structures and evaluation processes, including the assessment of project outcomes at two key intervals over the course of the project.
The work was organized into three phases: (I) review of documentation of Hopkins Center for the Arts’ current and past community outreach work and outcomes; (II) development of materials to guide the Community Venture Fund Task Force in effectively structuring and evaluating its work and facilitation of the initial task force meeting; and (III) assessment of project outcomes through interviews and a review of data gathered by the Hopkins staff.
