Americans for The Arts/Arts Extension Service Local Arts Agency Trainings

Maren Brown co-developed and delivered this new training program (with Mary Margaret Schoenfeld) for the Local Arts Agency Fundamentals training series jointly presented by the Arts Extension Service and Americans for the Arts.  The program is being piloted in Chicago, Illinois on behalf of the Illinois Arts Council and Arts Alliance Illinois, who were selected from a field of over a dozen state arts agencies throughout the nation to serve as a pilot agency.  The training program was complemented by a new publication entitled, Reimagining Resources through Partnership Development Workbook, co-authored by Maren Brown and Mary Margaret Schoenfeld. The training was held in October, 2011 in Chicago, IL for a group of local arts agencies from throughout Illinois.
