Maren Brown and Mary Margaret Schoenfeld of Maren Brown Associates presented at the Delaware Division of the Arts’ bi-annual statewide Arts Summit on “Partnering for Impact,” to help cultural organizations and artists to strengthen their impact through partnerships.
Serving as a consultant to conduct site visits throughout the state of Massachusetts to aid in the selection of cultural districts. The program is part of the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s new cultural districts program.
Maren Brown joined together with colleague, Dee Boyle-Clapp, Director of the Arts Extension Service, to deliver a 5-day training series on artist business skills for public artists. The series was sponsored by the City of El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department, with support from a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
Maren Brown offered an Artist Business training in Holyoke, Massachusetts with Arts Extension Service Director, Dee Boyle-Clapp. This two-day workshop focused on strengthening business and marketing skills for artists and was sponsored by the Artery and the Holyoke Creative Arts Center.

Maren Brown facilitated the first stages of planning for the Portland (ME) Temporary Public Art Committee, a collaboration with Creative Portland.
